Providing everything you need to make your self-tape an enjoyable and successful experience
Based in Southgate
What do I need to bring along with me?
You can bring along an extra copy of the script, or you can email me your sides so that I can either print them myself, or read them from my iPad. Also, please feel free to bring along any props that you might need for your self-tape.
How long do sessions normally last?
Session usually last between 30 minutes and 1 hour. When booking, you can specify how much time you think you'll need.
What happens during the session?
During our session we we initially have a quick chat about the piece(s) and have a read through together. This won't be filmed, but it will give you the opportunity to re-familiarise yourself with the script and get a feel for it when reading with me.
We'll then get set up an ready to put you on tape. I'll make sure that the lighting and sound is on-point and then we'll begin.
The number of takes that we do is up to you. I'll often provide feedback and offer assistance where I can so that we get the absolute best from your session. Once we are happy with 2 or 3 good takes, we can then review them back and choose the one that you would like to have edited.
Once we've selected which take(s) to use, I'll then edit and send them over to you (usually via WeTransfer) within 45 minutes.
Who reads in with me during the session?
During our session, it will be me who reads in with you. If you would like you bring your own reader along, you are welcome to do so.
- If you have any more questions about your self-tape session, please don't hesitate to get in touch and i'll be more than happy to answer any questions you might have.
